About Us

Women to counsel Hearts Association. (WTCHA) is a registered Non-Government Association situated in the Republic of Uganda, non-profit making rendering free counseling to all categories of people in diverse communities.

Statement of Purpose

Women are the nation mothers. However, Women are in many cases vulnerable in the communities they live in, therefore WTCHA operates to support women and men find a path of hope and discover their potential by promoting women and men counseling culture, human rights and helping them to achieve their ambitions, for sustainable/ holistic development. We trust and are proud of the strength and diversity of our team. The skills and experience our counselors’ trainers possess, emphasizes continuous life improvement.

Aims and objectives


The WTCHA aims are established for the purpose of acting in the overall interests of the community with respect to the below objectives
i. To train and counsel women and men so that they may be safe, health and protected at their family and general community they live in.
ii. To empower women to be self-reliant in most time.
iii. To empower the standard of living through carrying out some of affordable income generating activities.
iv. Counsel to help individuals overcome their immediate problems and also to equip them to meet future problems. Counseling’s, to be meaningful has to be specific to each client since it involves his unique problems and expectations.
v. We Advocate for gender youth, men and women rights within the communities of Uganda etc.
vi. To increase collaboration plans with other organizations, bodies or individuals whether Makindye division or national but having advocacy strategies for the similar cause as laid here in.
vii. To counsel and facilitate the rehabilitation of the traumatized men and women through sports, music, dance and drama.
